DARREN KEET: bio and profile
The 22-year-old Keet started his professional career at South African club Vasco da Gama before moving to Premier Soccer League club Wits University. He quickly established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper, while at the same time cementing his place in the U-20 national team.
Darren is a strong keeper, with great agility and is excellent one-on-one. All of these assets were the main reason why in August 2011 he signed a 4-year deal with KV Kortrijk in the Belgian Premier League.
Darren was a member of the South African team at the World Cup U-20 finals in Egypt in 2009, where his performances placed him among the top goalkeepers of his age group.
